WPS makes it possible for us to connect to a wireless network without requiring the network password. All you have to do is connect to the network, press the WPS button on the router, and you're in. Regrettably, WPS is incredibly unsafe and can be used by hackers to enter your network. We disable WPS for this reason.
The WAN port of a high-speed modem, such as a DSL or cable modem, links the router to the Internet in all residences and the majority of small companies. Depending on the manufacturer, either [WAN" or [Internet" is the label on this port.
Devices that are locally and briefly connected use Enternet=LAN. DSL refers to the connection you have from your house to your Internet service provider (in the case of DSL, typically a phone company that offers Internet access). You can move it around with ease because it uses your phone lines and an RJ-11 phone jack.
There are several IP addresses assigned to your router. In addition to the router's internal IP address, which serves as your LAN default gateway, it also has a public IP address, a private [management" IP address, and then further private IP addresses for each device.
Many routers come equipped with Wi-Fi® Protected Setup (WPS), which makes it simpler to link Wi-Fi capable devices to secure wireless networks.
EPR is a solid dielectric insulator that has a high degree of degradation resistance. Compared to EPR, XLPE is more vulnerable to moisture-related deterioration. Compared to EPR and XLPE cables, PILC cable installation, repair, and maintenance are more involved, difficult, and time-consuming.
Even at soldering iron temperatures, the XLPE insulation will not melt or drip, and it has better ageing properties and higher flow resistance. An additional advantage of XLPE insulation over PE insulation for LV and MV cables is improved resistance to water.
Cross-linked polyethylene plastic (XLPE) hydronic tubing is used to insulate single-stranded copper conductor wires. There is a three-dimensional bond between the plastic and the XLPE insulation. With zero halogen content, the insulation is thermoset and has flame-retardant qualities.
Heated resins are used in the construction of both XLPE and linear polyethylene tanks to produce cured plastic. But the ways they are produced differently result in very distinct polyethylenes with very varied structural strengths. The simple process of creating links between polymer chains is known as cross-linking.
The maximum operating temperature of a conductor is 90 degrees Celsius for XLPE-insulated cables and 70 degrees Celsius for PVC-insulated cables. Maximum short-term temperature (less than 5 seconds): 160 degrees Celsius for PVC-insulated cables, 250 degrees Celsius for XLPE-insulated cables.
