PCB circuit board

As a professional circuit board design engineer, you do need some skills in PCB circuit board wiring. First, the size of the board should be determined in the circuit board design. If the PCB size is too large, it will lead to the printing line is too long, the impedance increases,2 oz copper thickness in mm the resistance to dryness decreases, and the cost will increase; on the contrary, if the size is too small, the PCB's ability to dissipate heat will be very poor, and the adjacent lines are easy to be interfered with.

Therefore, after determining the size of the PCB, the next step is to consider the placement of special components. Finally, according to the functional unit, the layout of all components of the circuit.

In terms of layout, there are two principles to pay attention to. The first is that the digital and analog parts should be separated as much as possible. The second is that the low-speed part should not be close to the high-speed part.

The most basic principle is to separate the digital ground from the analog ground. Since digital grounding are switching devices, the current is very large at the moment of switching and very small at static, so digital grounding cannot be mixed with analog grounding.

In the circuit board wiring process, it is best to use a full straight line in accordance with the direction of signal flow. When it is necessary to turn, you can use 45 ° fold or arc curve to complete. This reduces the emission of high-frequency signals to the outside world and the coupling between them. The wiring of the high-frequency signal line should be as short as possible. The length of the signal line wiring should be selected reasonably according to the operating frequency of the circuit in order to reduce the distribution parameters and lower the signal loss.

When making double-sided panels, it is best to have the wiring on the two adjacent levels intersect each other perpendicularly, plated through hole vs via diagonally, or curved. Avoid wiring parallel to each other as this reduces the possibility of mutual interference and parasitic coupling.

Interactive can be used to route the more demanding wires before automated wiring is performed. Sides of inputs and outputs should not be adjacent and parallel to each other to avoid reflective interference. Ground can be added for isolation if necessary, and the wiring of the two neighboring layers should be perpendicular to each other. This is because parallel wiring tends to cause parasitic coupling.

The wiring throughput of automatic wiring depends on a good layout. Wiring rules can be pre-set, such as the number of bends, the number of vias, the number of steps, and so on. It usually starts with exploratory wiring to quickly connect short wires, and then optimizes the global wiring path by labyrinth wiring. It can disconnect the wires and rewire them as needed to improve the overall wiring.
